our vehicles & premises
Whilst most people use their own transport to get to a cemetery, there needs to be a registered funeral hearse to carry the deceased to the funeral. If required, we can arrange additional cars if the family has requested it such as escort vehicles or lead car. Below are a few images of the types of vehicles we offer
Types of Funeral Motor Vehicles
A Hearse – Compulsory
This is usually a suitable Motor vehicle as required under Australian law to transport a deceased person
A Lead Car – Optional
Typically driven at the front of a funeral procession with the secondary car being the hearse
Escort Motor Vehicles – Optional
Used at a large funeral to chaperone friends and family, these are typically a limousine or Van
Disability Prepared Vehicles – Optional
Usually, cars or vans that are capable of accomodating a wheelchair or for people who are restricted with their mobility
Police escorts – Optional
If required for a specific reason, a Police escort can be organised through a registered Funeral Director
